Violent confrontations between criminal gangs have occurred in the Fuerte Apache housing complex in Ciudadela, Tres de Febrero.

In late October, a shootout involving high-caliber automatic weapons between factions reportedly known as ‘Villa Matienzo’ and ‘Los Fiolos’ left two people dead and four wounded. Authorities investigated the incident as a territorial dispute over drug sales.

On November 7, another confrontation took place in the Ejército de los Andes neighborhood. This incident resulted in one death and wounded a 14-year-old boy. Law enforcement agencies, including the Buenos Aires Provincial Police and the National Gendarmerie, responded to the scene and detained four suspects.
