The crisis is severely impacting the education and medical sectors. While over 450 large buses previously operated, only 50 to 60 remain to serve students. Consequently, buses designed for 50 passengers are often carrying between 85 and 90 people. Furthermore, medical staff and service workers face extreme overcrowding and have been forced to extend shifts from 8 to 12 hours due to the inability to travel safely at night.

Beyond economic loss, the blockade of mechanical supplies threatens critical infrastructure, including water desalination plants, sewage pumps, and emergency services.
