Comedian Gene Gnocchi is set to debut a new satirical television program titled ‘Martedì Gnocchi’ on the regional channel Teleromagna. Scheduled to begin on October 13, the show aims to analyze Italy’s Serie A football league through a blend of technical competence, irony, and humor, focusing on league controversies and rivalries rather than traditional sports analysis.

Following the launch, Gnocchi detailed his motivations for joining a local broadcaster, noting a lack of space in national sports media for his specific combination of comedy and football analysis. He indicated that he prioritized this project over appearances on national reality shows. Gnocchi also reflected on his professional background, noting that he practiced law for four years after studying the philosophy of law in Parma before pursuing comedy.
