Ahead of a scheduled matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart initially expressed respect for Alabama’s physicality and the coaching of Kalen DeBoer.

Following praise from former Alabama coach Nick Saban, who described Georgia as the ‘most complete team in college football,’ Smart dismissed the comments. He characterized the accolades as ‘rat poison’ intended to distract his players, suggesting such public praise is easy to give but difficult to earn.
