The No. 2 ranked Georgia Bulldogs defeated Vanderbilt 38-14 at Sanford Stadium, moving to a 5-0 record for the season. Vanderbilt provided early resistance when backup quarterback Blaze Berlowitz, starting due to an injury to Jared Curtis, connected with Junior Sherrill for a 60-yard touchdown to tie the game 7-7 in the first quarter. Although Vanderbilt remained competitive through the third quarter, staying within two scores before Georgia pulled away, the Bulldogs' defense limited the Commodores to 61 offensive yards in the second half.

Quarterback Gunner Stockton led the offense with 295 passing yards and three touchdowns, completing 25 of 32 passes to 10 different players. His touchdown passes went to Landon Roldan and tight ends Jaden Reddell and Elyiss Williams. Head coach Kirby Smart praised Stockton’s execution, noting it was likely the quarterback’s “best performance.”

Following the victory, Georgia maintained its No. 2 position in the Week 6 AP Poll with 1,647 points. The top of the rankings remains led by Texas, followed by Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami, and Ohio State.
