In late 2026, new biographical works are scheduled for release in Germany focusing on entrepreneurship and the psychological impacts of addiction.

Michael Galecki is set to release his e-book, ‘Vom Fließband-Arbeiter zum Immobilien-Millionär’, on October 1, 2026. The work chronicles his journey from 13 years of assembly line labor to becoming a real estate investor, highlighting themes of financial self-determination and perseverance.

Separately, author Michael Gruninger has released his non-fiction book, ‘Mission Spielfrei – Spielsucht erkennen und richtig handeln’ (Mission Play-Free: Recognizing Gambling Addiction and Acting Correctly). Based in Ingelheim am Rhein, the work utilizes an autobiographical approach to discuss the loss of control, shame, and personal consequences associated with gambling addiction. Gruninger details his descent from managing up to 300 employees to struggling with severe trading addiction, documenting the resulting financial losses and legal consequences, including imprisonment.

Gruninger explains how his addiction developed within a high-performance entrepreneurial environment driven by risk and speed, rather than traditional gambling settings. The work aims to clarify that addiction should not be dismissed as mere greed or a lack of willpower, exploring similar dynamics found in trading, gaming, and other digital risk mechanisms. It is intended to provide guidance for those affected, their families, and professionals in leadership, coaching, and healthcare on recognizing warning signs such as social withdrawal and emotional instability. Gruninger is scheduled to present the book at the ‘Words & Vibes’ Freiburg Book Festival on October 17, 2026.
