Thuringian triathlon teams competed in the 2026 Triathlon-Bundesliga at the Großer Alpsee near Immenstadt. Despite severe storms that damaged facilities and forced the event to be shortened from a sprint to a supersprint, the Weimarer Ingenieure secured fifth place in the 16-team field. 

Individual performances included Alexander Kull finishing eighth and Theo Sonneberg achieving his first top-20 Bundesliga finish in 17th place. The Thuringian women’s team placed eighth, which secured them fourth place overall heading into the season finale in Hannover.
