Canale 5 hosted a special charity edition of the game show ‘La Ruota dei Campioni... e delle stelle’, hosted by Gerry Scotti. The event featured former champions and musical guests Il Volo, with winnings from the ‘La Ruota delle Meraviglie’ round designated for Mediafriends to support the Orchestra Giovanile Quattro Ottavi.

Following this, during a September 27 broadcast of ‘La Ruota della Fortuna’, Scotti issued a formal apology for a production error involving a game board irregularity from a previous episode. To correct the mistake, two contestants, Andrea and Marco, were invited back to compete again. Scotti stated, ‘It is our fault,’ while addressing the inaccuracy.
