Sadiq Abdulai Abu, the Ghanaian High Commissioner to Nigeria and Permanent Representative to ECOWAS, commended United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) for its operational efficiency on the Accra–Abuja–Accra route. 

During a visit to the High Commission in Abuja by a UNA delegation led by Director of Administration Linus Awute, the airline reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties between Ghana and Nigeria. The airline noted that its workforce includes a significant number of Ghanaian nationals. 

High Commissioner Abu expressed interest in future collaborations, including potential partnerships for Ghana’s 70th Independence Anniversary in March 2027. He also requested the airline explore special corporate travel packages for Commission staff and support for official cargo arrangements.
