Police operations in Ghana have resulted in multiple arrests involving illegal firearms and narcotics.

In the Greater Accra Region, a raid on a lounge near Achimota led to the arrest of 64 suspects. During the operation, authorities seized a loaded Smith & Wesson pistol and an unregistered vehicle. A subsequent search of a residence in Atico uncovered three pump-action shotguns, four pistols, and over 100 rounds of ammunition.

In the Volta Region, separate operations targeted weapons smuggling and cannabis cultivation. In Kpando, one individual was arrested for allegedly trading marijuana for an AK-47 assault rifle smuggled from Togo; police recovered the rifle, a pump-action shotgun, and a locally manufactured gun. In the Central Tongu District, police discovered a cannabis plantation and 16 sacks of dried leaves during a patrol along the Volta Lake.
