Greek actor Giannis Bezos has shared various reflections on his professional life and social views through recent media interviews.

In an appearance on ‘Chamoela kai Pali’, Bezos discussed his approach to acting, stating he views his work as an effort to perform to the best of his ability rather than something ‘tremendously important’. He addressed the social and political responsibilities of performers, particularly in theater, noting that because their work is public, it carries a political dimension regarding what is communicated to the audience. He also noted his upcoming role as Shylock in ‘The Merchant of Venice’ at the Alkyonis Theater, describing the character as a complex individual driven by extreme behaviors and a preoccupation with money.

Bezos has also remarked that he has never felt professionally wronged or victimized by industry circles. In a subsequent interview on ‘Kalýtera de ginétai’, he expressed gratitude for his self-made career and offered critiques of Greek social dynamics. He criticized a national tendency to dwell on history, stating, “I loathe the past. Our big problem in Greece is that we constantly deal with the past and think that it is the future. Horror.” He also commented on generational issues, suggesting older generations often fail to provide authentic guidance to younger people.
