FIATC Girona began its FIBA Europe Cup campaign with an 87-75 victory over CS Dinamo București. Although the match was competitive through three quarters, Girona secured the win with a 22-12 scoring advantage in the final period.

Following this result, FIATC Girona hosted Leyma Básquet Coruña in a matchup featuring American guard Mac McClung. Girona secured a 110-90 victory at Fontajau. While Coruña managed to stay within five points at the break following a third-quarter recovery, a 14-0 run by Girona at the start of the fourth quarter decided the match. Coruña struggled with turnovers and shooting accuracy against Girona’s offensive momentum, led by players such as N’Guessan and Sergi Martínez.

In the third round of the FIBA Europe Cup, Girona secured a dominant 109-68 victory over the Polish side Zastal Zielona Gora. The Spanish team established an early 30-10 lead and maintained the lead for over 39 minutes. Mac McClung led the scoring with 24 points on 73% shooting, while Jassel Perez contributed 21 points. The 41-point margin represents one of Zastal Zielona Gora’s largest recent defeats.

In women’s basketball, Spar Girona achieved its first Eurocup victory with a 77-49 win against SBS Ostrava, rebounding from an initial four-game losing streak.
