Efforts to honor the legacy of Giulia Cecchettin and combat gender-based violence in Italy have expanded through educational, social, and artistic initiatives.

In Mantova, educational meetings involving Gino Cecchettin and approximately 600 students were held to promote respect and female dignity. Additionally, the ‘Casa di Semi-Autonomia Giulia Cecchettin’ in Grottaferrata reopened to provide transitional support for women victims of violence and their children, focusing on social and economic reintegration.

Commemorations also included a protest in Padua marking the second anniversary of her death, where participants used a “minute of noise” to demand social change. In Milan, a mural by the artist Tvboy was unveiled to promote healthy relationships, with proceeds intended to support the Fondazione Giulia Cecchettin.
