In late 2026, various global events are scheduled to highlight African and Afro-descendant culture, spanning music, visual arts, and cinema.

In September, the African Union and the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) planned to unveil the global calendar for the 10th edition of AFRIMA in Los Angeles. This announcement was accompanied by a roundtable and conference themed ‘Catalyst for Collaboration & Investment in the Global Creative Industry,’ following preparatory events in Tanzania, Cote d’Ivoire, and Morocco.

By October, the focus expanded to diverse cultural exhibitions and festivals across Europe, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. Notable activities included art exhibitions in Paris and Geneva, works in Kampala, and the Mois Kréyol Festival celebrating Creole cultures.
