Various international versions of the reality competition series ‘The Traitors’ are entering new production or broadcast phases.

In Australia, casting has opened for the 2027 season, which will feature a civilian cast and a prize of up to $250,000. The production, hosted by Gretel Killeen, follows a 2026 season that saw a significant increase in viewership.

In Italy, the second season of ‘The Traitors Italia’ is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 6, 2026. Hosted by Alessia Marcuzzi, this edition will consist of six episodes airing over three weeks, concluding with a finale on November 20. The season features a cast of 14 contestants from television, sports, music, and social media, including Lorella Cuccarini, Giulia Salemi, Filippo Magnini, and Pasquale La Rocca. A major new mechanic for this edition is the introduction of a ‘secret traitor,’ a participant whose identity remains hidden even from the other traitors to increase unpredictability.
