Jewish communities in the United States and Montenegro held celebrations for the holiday of Sukkot.

In the United States, communities in Crown Heights and West Ridge hosted large-scale events. In Crown Heights, the Simchas Beis Hashoeiva celebration on Kingston Avenue drew tens of thousands of participants. In West Ridge, Congregation Bnei Ruven held its 32nd annual ‘Dancing in the Streets’ event, which involved closing a block of Whipple Street for community dancing to live Hebrew music.

In Montenegro, celebrations took place across multiple cities, including Podgorica, Budva, Bar, Kotor, Tivat, and Žabljak. Chief Rabbi Ari Edelkopf noted the festival serves as a reminder of joy and faith. To improve accessibility, the community utilized a ‘Suka mobil’ (mobile sukkah) built on a small truck to bring the tradition to various towns for those unable to construct their own temporary dwellings.
