Power metal band Gloryhammer announced their fifth studio album, ‘Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath’, which is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, via Napalm Records. The album is a sequel to their 2015 release, ‘Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards’, and continues the saga of the McFife dynasty.

Following the initial announcement and the release of the single ‘Die with a Sword in My Hand’, the band released a second single titled ‘Warriors of Auchtermuchty’. The band noted they have reportedly set a record for the most frequent use of the word ‘Auchtermuchty’ within a single song. The upcoming album will feature eleven tracks and includes a planned European tour for the autumn of 2026.
