Industrial metal band Godflesh has announced their tenth and penultimate studio album, titled ‘Decay’, which is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, via Relapse Records. The announcement included the release of the single ‘Living/Ending’. 

Founder Justin Broadrick noted that the album material originated from the same sessions as their previous album, ‘Purge’. While the recordings were completed prior to his recent abdominal surgery, the mixing process occurred during his recovery. Broadrick cited the need for creative self-discipline and physical limitations following the surgery as reasons for the approaching end of the band’s active era, noting that the physical strain of his vocal style contributed to his injury.
