Sports clubs in Gorzów are undergoing significant organizational and personnel shifts. In speedway, Gezet Stal Gorzów announced plans to maintain competitiveness in the PGE Ekstraliga by retaining leaders Jack Holder and Anders Thomsen while adding Villads Nagel and Przemysław Pawlicki. The club also expects continued development from young talents such as Kordun and Oskar Paluch.

Following these roster updates, the club announced a broader restructuring. Paweł Piskorz has been appointed as the new sports director and first-team manager to oversee sporting operations and preparations for the 2027 season. Piskorz, who previously managed Polonia Piła and worked with Stali Rzeszów, joins the club following the departures of Jarosław Gała, Krzysztof Orzeł, and Michał Kozdraś. Former president Jerzy Synowiec expressed surprise regarding the appointment, noting he was “unfamiliar with Piskorz.”

Further organizational changes in the speedway department include the departure of head coach Piotr Paluch and manager Marcin Kozdrasiak. Regarding Paluch, Synowiec suggested he might “transition into a role coaching youth riders.”

In volleyball, Stilon Gorzów has also overhauled its roster for the Tauron Liga, adding players such as Fabian Drzyzga, Iliya Kowalov, and Lazar Marinovic under the leadership of coach Hubert Henno. President Tomasz Tycel noted the team’s goal is to perform well despite the risks associated with “ambitious targets.”
