The Great Pyramid of Cholula is commemorating 95 years of systematic archaeological exploration. To mark the anniversary, a special edition of the magazine Arqueología Mexicana, titled ‘Cholula. La Gran Pirámide. Registros, mitos y enigmas’, was presented.

Following this, San Andrés Cholula inaugurated a temporary exhibition titled “A 95 años del inicio de las exploraciones de la Gran Pirámide de Cholula. 1931 – 2026.” Organized in coordination with the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), the exhibition features historical and contemporary records from 1931 to 2026. The initiative highlights the work of archaeologists, anthropologists, historians, and local workers to preserve the region's cultural identity and historical memory.
