Greek political figures are advocating for a convergence of progressive and center-left forces to address the nation’s ongoing crises. 

Independent Member of Parliament Giannis Dragasakis has called for cooperation between the Greek Left Coalition, PASOK, and smaller left-of-center parties. Dragasakis argued that progressive forces must establish a roadmap and move beyond subjective differences to create a climate of dialogue, warning that a lack of collaboration could diminish the value of the entire political space.

Building on these sentiments, Giorgos Siakantaris, author of the Alexis Tsipras Institute manifesto, has proposed a formal dialogue to form a coalition involving ELAS, PASOK, and SYRIZA. While noting that the current pre-election period complicates such discussions, Siakantaris suggested that a unified dialogue should proceed regardless of upcoming election results to prevent political fragmentation.
