The Greek television drama series ‘Derti’ follows an intensifying narrative set in 1980s Patras. Early developments focus on the aftermath of an attack on the ‘Derti’ establishment, involving investigations into threats made by Saraphis and the movements of a fugitive named Giannis.

As the plot progresses, the story shifts toward murder suspicions involving the character Kostis. The investigation into Kostis’s death places significant strain on the marriage of Aleko and Xenia. Xenia’s suspicions regarding Aleko intensify after she overhears Leonidas discussing his son and individuals who wanted Kostis to remain silent, specifically mentioning a desire to ‘shut the mouth’ of Kostis due to his issues with the police.

Although Xenia lacks definitive proof, she begins to connect these conversations to the events surrounding the night Kostis left the ‘Derti’. Despite Aleko’s denials and attempts to dismiss the allegations, the loss of trust leads to a heated confrontation. Feeling her marriage is irreparably damaged, Xenia decides to leave for Athens, distancing herself from both her husband and the shop. The arrival of a dangerous drug dealer named Dalamangka suggests further instability and upheaval for the characters.
