The initiative involves members selling lottery tickets for €3 each to fund goals such as new equipment, uniforms, or facility renovations. This year, the share of proceeds returned to participating clubs has increased from 80% to 85%, meaning €2.55 from every ticket sold goes directly to the association. Sales are conducted door-to-door as well as digitally via QR codes and social media. Following the campaign's start on September 19, participation has been noted across various regions. In the Alkmaar area, 137 clubs are involved, spanning locations such as Dijk en Waard, Castricum, Bergen, Heiloo, and Uitgeest. In Woerden, 24 clubs are participating. Additionally, 53 associations in Haarlem and 58 in Haarlemmermeer have joined the effort. Frank Molkenboer, director of the Grote Clubactie, stated that the collective effort for young members is as valuable as the financial proceeds. The campaign features over 1 million prizes, including a top prize of €100,000. Ticket sales are scheduled to continue until October 27, 2026, with a drawing set for November 3, 2026. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-19: Grote Clubactie fundraising campaign begins across the Netherlands The Grote Clubactie fundraising campaign begins September 19, with hundreds of Dutch clubs selling lottery tickets to fund equipment, activities, and facility improvements. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/grote-clubactie-fundraising-campaign-begins-across-the-netherlands ### 2026-09-17: Grote Clubactie launches across the Netherlands to support local associations The Grote Clubactie has begun across the Netherlands, with local associations selling lottery tickets to fund club goals.
