Guidonia Montecelio 1937 FC experienced leadership changes and mixed results across its football programs in late September 2026.

The senior team dismissed head coach Giovanni Lopez following a 1-1 draw against Livorno. Although the team had secured nine points from six matches, management cited dissatisfaction with the squad’s playing style and performance relative to significant financial investments. Potential replacements discussed include Ciro Ginestra and Fabio Liverani.

Simultaneously, the club’s youth teams secured their first points of the season. The Primavera 3 squad earned a draw against Catania despite travel disruptions caused by volcanic activity at Etna. Additionally, the Under 16 team recorded a 0-0 draw against Perugia, relying on defensive solidity to secure the result.
