GungHo Online Entertainment has announced the development of ‘Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet’ (also referred to as ‘Ninja La 2: Unknown Planet’), an open-world 3D action game for the Nintendo Switch 2. 

Scheduled for a Spring 2027 release, the sequel marks a genre shift from the original title’s competitive PvP focus to a PvE-centric experience. Developers stated this change was driven by multimedia expansions and user requests for more cooperative play and single-player exploration. The new title will feature ‘Ninja-Gum Action’ combat, dungeon conquering, and large boss battles without gacha-style elements. The game is expected to emphasize high mobility, allowing players to traverse vertical environments such as walls and cliffs.
