Created in 2006, the work employs a diptych structure that pairs vintage family photographs from the 1970s with contemporary images taken in the same locations with identical framing. This method aims to highlight the physical and emotional void left by those disappeared during the Argentine military coup between 1976 and 1983.

In August 2026, an exhibition of the series opened in Córdoba, Argentina, at the Casona Municipal to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the start of the last Argentine civic-military dictatorship. The event was a collaboration between the Municipality of Córdoba, the Direction of Cultural Centers and Training, and the Goethe Institute Córdoba.
