Ha-seong Kim has experienced contrasting professional periods across different Major League Baseball organizations. While playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kim addressed media reports regarding his playing time, clarifying via social media that his dissatisfaction was directed at his own performance rather than the organization. He stated, “I love the Dodgers. And I have never been disappointed in this team.”

In a separate period with the Atlanta Braves, Kim faced significant media scrutiny following a difficult season. After signing a $20 million contract, Kim struggled with a .116 batting average and zero home runs over 51 games. Reports attributed his decline to an injury sustained from a fall on ice in January, which also impacted his participation in the World Baseball Classic. As Kim enters free agency, analysts have noted his history of long-term injuries and the resulting impact on infield stability.
