The 2026 Haenam Minam Festival, held at Duryunsan Provincial Park, features a rice-themed pavilion showcasing the history and products of Haenam rice, alongside musical performances and chrysanthemum displays. The festival is accompanied by the inaugural ‘2026 Haenam Chocolate Festa’ at Gunmin Plaza, which includes pop-up stores from approximately 18 dessert brands.

To stimulate the local economy, Haenam County has expanded festival benefits through the ‘Eat, Snap, and Get Benefits’ theme. These initiatives include meal expense payback draws at local restaurants, social media rewards such as local sweet potatoes, and a cross-coupon system that allows visitors to exchange receipts between the Chocolate Festa and the Minam Festival to encourage broader regional spending.
