Authorities in Hai Phong are focusing on accelerating major infrastructure and economic development projects. State budget revenue reached nearly 147 trillion VND, surpassing the eight-month plan by 22.5%, while export turnover reached approximately 42.2 billion USD. Foreign direct investment (FDI) attracted nearly 3.5 billion USD, a 1.8-fold increase year-on-year. Regarding housing, the city aims to complete 7,135 social housing units in 2026, with 2,050 units finished by late August. Additionally, the city approved plans to auction land use rights for 88 redundant administrative headquarters, including 29 educational facilities.
