Halley Campania Avellino Basket has secured consecutive victories in Italian basketball. On October 3, the team achieved a narrow 73-72 win against Basket Rimini, aided by a late three-pointer from Mollura and 21 points from Tariq Owens.

Following this, Avellino defeated Unieuro Forlì 94-81 in a Serie A2 matchup. The team maintained momentum through strong performances by Francis and Owens, and a pivotal third-quarter effort from Dell’Agnello. While Coach Gennaro Di Carlo praised the team’s composure, he noted a requirement to improve rebounding.

In a subsequent Serie A2 matchup at PalaDelMauro, Avellino secured another 94-81 victory against Unieuro Forlì, despite the loss of key players Francis and Owens to fouls during the game. This defeat for Unieuro Forlì was attributed largely to a significant struggle at the free-throw line, where the team recorded a 42% success rate (13/31). Specific struggles included Marcus Santos Silva shooting 0/6 from the line and Giacomo Zanetti converting only 4/11.

Despite the loss, Forlì showed positive indicators, including a 40% success rate from three-point range and a strong showing in offensive rebounding, securing 18 to Avellino's 7. Additionally, the Forlì bench contributed 30 points compared to Avellino's 20.
