Halloween festivities in Brazil involve a variety of regional events, ranging from specialized automotive meets to cultural and cinematic programming.

In Eusébio, the third edition of the Halloween Car event features customized and modified vehicles decorated with Halloween themes. Other regional celebrations include musical performances such as the Cidade Rock edition in Goiânia and themed carnival-style activations in Florianópolis. In Curitiba, festivities encompass film workshops, games, and jazz nights.

Recent developments show expanded programming across several cities. In Goiânia, the Cidade Rock event at Centro Cultural Martim Cererê features horror punk and rock alternative artists, such as Hellbenders and Tupinipunk, with free entry contingent upon food donations. Curitiba continues its seasonal activities with a Halloween circuit at Cine Passeio and themed celebrations at Cocktails Continental Batel. In Aracaju, RioMar shopping is introducing a ‘Halloween Geek experience’ alongside traditional children’s programming, while PopHaus parks in São Paulo are offering face painting and trick-or-treating.

The entertainment and commercial sectors are also driving seasonal trends. Cinema chains, such as UCI, are hosting ‘Day Terror’ promotions with discounted tickets for horror classics like ‘Scream’, ‘Friday the 13th’, and ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’. Additionally, streaming platforms like Disney+ are highlighting horror titles to coincide with the holiday.
