New York City has initiated its fifth annual ‘Trick-or-Streets’ program, which converts various streets and plazas into car-free themed zones throughout October. The initiative involves multiple city agencies and includes scheduled events across the five boroughs, such as Brooklyn on October 22 and Manhattan on October 28, concluding with festivities in the Bronx on Halloween Day.

In addition to large-scale community events, the city is collaborating with local public schools and the non-profit Street Lab to provide themed games for children, while the Municipal Art Society offers guided walking tours of the participating neighborhoods.
