Pep Guardiola has publicly praised Hansi Flick’s tactical approach at FC Barcelona, describing the team’s vertical and aggressive style as highly entertaining. Guardiola noted that Flick’s emphasis on constant pressure and a high defensive line makes the team engaging to watch.

However, following a 4-2 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, Flick has faced criticism regarding his tactical expertise. Former player Hans Dorfner suggested that while Flick is “excellent at dealing with people,” he may not be an “outstanding football expert.” Despite the loss, Flick has attempted to maintain squad optimism ahead of El Clásico, citing positive performances during the match in Paris.
