Following the commercial success of the devotional drama ‘Hanuman Ansh’, which grossed over INR 408 crore worldwide, producer Namrata Singh indicated that the film was intended as a trilogy with discussions underway for a second installment.

Initial reports suggested that cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma might make special appearances in the sequel due to their spiritual connection to Neem Karoli Baba, the figure who inspired the first film.

Later, co-producer Anupriya Nagar dismissed rumors regarding actor Akshay Kumar joining the cast. Nagar clarified that she had made no official announcements concerning Kumar’s participation, addressing speculation that arose from her previous comments about the actor.
