Argentine streamer Homero Pettinato has filed a formal police complaint following a death threat received during a live broadcast at the Olga studio in Palermo. Pettinato reported that an individual identified as ‘Hernán Bloquero’ appeared at the studio window and made a gesture simulating cutting his throat.

Pettinato stated that the individual has been sending intimidating messages for approximately two years, a period coinciding with his relationship with influencer Sofía Gonet. Gonet, Pettinato’s ex-partner, has also reported a decade of persistent harassment and stalking by the same individual, who reportedly maintains a ‘parasocial relationship’ and has extensive tattoos dedicated to her.

New details identify the suspect as 39-year-old Claudio Hernán Di Carlo. Gonet reported that the man has created a ‘sanctuary’ of her photos and sends threatening imagery. While Pettinato previously viewed the threats as purely digital, he noted that the physical confrontation at the studio changed his perception of the danger.

The case is being handled by Prosecutor Federico Jorge Taramelli, and Di Carlo has been summoned for a formal inquiry regarding ‘simple threats’. Di Carlo has since spoken publicly, denying he is an obsessive fan and claiming his actions were a reaction to previous social media disputes. Witnesses and acquaintances have provided details regarding Di Carlo’s history, including past psychiatric institutionalization.

Following the incident, Pettinato has requested judicial and mental health intervention, noting that the suspect may require psychiatric care. The conductor has also implemented security measures, including a panic button and police presence at his residence and workplace, due to fears for his safety during upcoming public appearances and musical performances.

The incident has prompted other public figures, including Evangelina Anderson and Denisse González, to speak out regarding their own experiences with obsessive stalking and online harassment.
