Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is conducting a three-day visit to Singapore from October 4 to October 6 to bolster industrial cooperation, technological partnerships, and skill development.

During the Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026, Saini focused on transforming Haryana into India’s ‘Innovation Capital’. He highlighted key sectors including semiconductors, green energy, artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, and logistics. To facilitate investment, the state has introduced new initiatives such as the Data Centre Policy-2026 and established a dedicated ‘Merlion Desk’ to fast-track proposals from Singaporean entities. Saini also noted the state's existing ecosystem of over 270 Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and expressed goals to develop cities like Panchkula and Rohtak as technology-led growth centers.

Saini’s efforts are part of a broader mission to showcase Haryana’s industrial policies, infrastructure, and proximity to the National Capital Region. He is also studying Singaporean infrastructure and water management models, such as Suntec City and Gardens by the Bay, to inform upcoming projects in Haryana, including a proposed convention centre in Gurugram and a Jungle Safari project.

On October 4, Saini participated in a program organized by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) alongside Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. While Chhattisgarh secured FDI proposals totaling ₹43,250 crore—including a major hyperscale data centre project—Saini continued to promote Haryana’s potential for research and development centers and advanced manufacturing.
