Egyptian actor Sameh Hussein was hospitalized and placed in intensive care following a sudden health crisis. The crisis began in Port Said during performances of his play, ‘Box El Aila’, where Hussein experienced high fever and severe fatigue. Upon returning to Cairo, medical examinations identified imbalances in vital functions that required surgical intervention.

Although Hussein experienced unexpected complications that necessitated approximately one week in intensive care, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Acting Professions Syndicate, confirmed the actor had passed the danger stage and his condition had stabilized. Following his recovery, Hussein returned home and expressed gratitude to his fans via Instagram for their support.

Recently, Hussein and his wife, screenwriter Wissam Hamed, have had to address false social media rumors claiming the actor had died. Hussein reassured his followers on Facebook, stating, “Praise be to God, I am fine.” His wife also addressed the misinformation, noting that such false reports have resurfaced multiple times and urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified news regarding his personal life.
