In Pathanamthitta, the closures affected 10 schools in the Thiruvalla taluk and two anganwadis in the Kozhencherry taluk, while in Kottayam, the holiday applied to all institutions functioning as relief centers. Across the affected areas, officials clarified that previously scheduled examinations would proceed as planned.
