Discussions within the heavyweight boxing community have focused on the legacy and matchups of top fighters, particularly Oleksandr Usyk.

Initial reports highlighted tensions regarding potential future bouts, as Usyk’s manager, Sergey Lapin, dismissed Tyson Fury’s interest in a trilogy fight, stating Usyk is not a ‘back-up plan’ for Fury. This occurred amid Usyk’s decision to vacate his heavyweight titles and ongoing delays in negotiations between Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Subsequent commentary from boxing figures such as David Haye has centered on Usyk’s status as an ‘all-time great,’ noting his undefeated record and his success in winning titles across both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.
