Paul McCartney and Céline Dion are collaborating on the upcoming 3D animated film ‘High in the Clouds’, which is an adaptation of McCartney’s children’s book. The project, directed by Toby Genkel and produced by Gaumont Animation, follows a teenage squirrel named Wirral who leads a rebellion against an owl named Gretsch who has banned music.

Céline Dion will voice the character Sugartail, the protagonist's mother, and will perform original songs written and composed by McCartney. The film features a voice cast including Ringo Starr, Idris Elba, Lionel Richie, and Jimmy Fallon. While McCartney is composing original songs, Michael Giacchino will handle the film's score. The soundtrack is expected to be released globally via Universal Music Group.
