In Victoria, Australia, the Knowla Angus bull Knowla VIP V264 sold for $140,000 at an auction in Gloucester. The bull was noted for its eye-muscle area and docility metrics. This followed other livestock sales in Queensland, including a Brangus bull that sold for $15,000.

In Argentina, an Angus bull named ‘Álvaro’ set a new sector record during an auction in Tres Arroyos. A 50% ownership stake in the bull was sold for 300 million pesos, approximately US$200,000. The bull, owned by Cabaña Santa Rosa, was acquired by a consortium from La Pampa due to its championship pedigree.
