Various hill climb racing events are scheduled to take place in Italy. In Calabria, the 44th edition of the Coppa Sila is set for late August, featuring a 9.5-kilometer course and participation from teams such as Cosenza Corse and Island Motorsport.

In Sicily, the Scordia–Militello hill climb is returning for its sixth edition in early October. Organized by Sicilia Promo Sport with support from the local administrations of Scordia and Militello in Val di Catania, the event will take place from October 2 to 4 along a 6.2-kilometer stretch of the SP 28. This relaunch marks the return of a competition that has been inactive since 1986.

The upcoming edition has 100 registered participants, consisting of 63 modern vehicles and 37 historic and classic cars. To honor the late Italian television icon and native of Militello in Val di Catania, organizers have established the “1st Memorial Pippo Baudo.” The event aims to consolidate the competition and increase its prestige in future seasons.
