Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have engaged in a series of public political disputes. The tension escalated on social media when Clinton criticized Trump’s relationship with the media, stating, “Kicking out the free press is what fragile authoritarians do. Not American presidents.” This prompted users to reference Clinton’s past comments regarding journalist Julian Assange.

During a subsequent rally in Omaha, Nebraska, Clinton continued her criticisms of Trump, specifically addressing his characterization of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Navi Pillay as an “unabashed hater of America.” Clinton also used the platform to challenge the administration’s treatment of high-ranking women in military and maritime leadership roles. Additionally, the political rivalry prompted reflections on the ten-year anniversary of the 2016 presidential debates, with Clinton discussing her past efforts to maintain composure during confrontations with Trump.
