NTT Urban Development is renewing the Pacela commercial facility in Hiroshima City, transforming it into a multi-functional complex for shopping, dining, learning, and working. 

The redevelopment begins with the opening of a large-scale Yamada Denki flagship store on November 6. This six-floor outlet, one of the largest in the Chugoku region, will feature experiential zones for home appliances, a dedicated cooking section with tastings, and a live streaming studio. 

Further renovations are scheduled through 2027. Planned additions to the facility include the West Japan debut of the Takara Tomy Planet indoor digital play park, a capsule toy specialty store, and a Hoshino Coffee shop. The site will also expand its service offerings to include shared office spaces and a campus for the Ame ni mo Makezu correspondence high school.
