Promotional activities for Hokkaido Wagyu beef have been conducted in Tokachi and Sapporo to increase regional awareness and consumption. 

In late August, the Hokkaido Wagyu Show was held in Tokachi, featuring beef steak distributions and the 35th Hokkaido Meat Cattle Show, where 155 cattle competed on physique and development. This event served as a precursor to the National Wagyu Showmanship Contest scheduled for 2027.

In early September, a follow-up event in Sapporo marked the one-year countdown to the 13th National Wagyu Capability Competition Hokkaido Tournament, set for August of the following year. The event included appearances by the tournament mascot, ‘Wagyury’, and a talk show by agricultural students, alongside local food vendors offering Wagyu products.
