Honda has announced plans to unveil its first electric SUV for the Indian market, officially named the Honda ALPHA. The vehicle is scheduled for its global debut in India on December 2, 2026.

Based on the 0 Alpha concept, the ALPHA will be manufactured at the Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, which is expected to serve as the global production base for the model. The midsize SUV is anticipated to feature a single-motor, front-wheel-drive layout and will offer two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack options with capacities between 65kWh and 75kWh. The ALPHA will also be the first model in India to feature Honda’s new H mark.
