Lal Krishna Advani, the 98-year-old veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister, was hospitalized at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi on October 16 due to a chest infection.

During his stay, Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda visited to inquire about his health. Following medical treatment and improvement in his condition, Advani was discharged from the hospital on October 19.
