In the first matchup, the Rockets defeated the Hawks 121-114, led by 22 points from Kevin Durant. This win brought Houston to an undefeated 3-0 start. The Hawks, despite a late effort from Jalen Johnson, fell to a 2-1 record. In the following game, the Rockets secured a 120-110 win, marking the franchise’s first 4-0 start in 12 years. Alperen Sengun led the team with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, and 6 steals. Houston overcame a halftime deficit by dominating the boards with a 52-35 rebounding advantage. Following this 4-0 start, the Rockets are scheduled to face the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum on October 28, 2026. However, the Rockets face roster challenges as key players Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams are listed as out. This may force the team to rely on Clint Capela or a small-ball lineup featuring Jabari Smith Jr. The Bucks enter the matchup with a 1-3 record. Following the trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat, the Bucks have integrated new players including Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Kel’el Ware. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-26: Houston Rockets face Milwaukee Bucks following 4-0 season start The 4-0 Houston Rockets prepare to face the 1-3 Milwaukee Bucks, facing potential roster challenges with Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams sidelined. 10 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/houston-rockets-defeat-atlanta-hawks-120-110 ### 2026-10-24: Houston Rockets defeat Atlanta Hawks 121-114 The Houston Rockets defeated the Atlanta Hawks 121-114, moving to 3-0 on the season behind Kevin Durant's 22 points and strong performances from Reed Sheppard and Tari Eason. 12 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/atlanta-hawks-and-houston-rockets-face-nba-matchup --- Cite as: Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks NBA series.
