Reports indicate an increase in Houthi missile launch failures resulting in civilian casualties and property damage. On October 11, a failed missile strike in the Shu'ub district of northern Sanaa injured approximately six civilians, including women and children. Following the incident, Houthi security forces reportedly confiscated local surveillance footage to prevent documentation of the event.

By October 23, the Yemeni Armed Forces reported that a failed ballistic missile struck a home in the Nihm district, killing an entire family during a gathering. Military officials noted that similar failures have been observed in Sanaa, Taiz, Ibb, and Saada. The Yemeni military attributed this decline in Houthi missile capabilities to recent strikes targeting missile warehouses, launch platforms, and technical experts.
