Hulu and Disney+ have released trailers for the upcoming coming-of-age mystery series ‘Phony’, which is scheduled to premiere on October 20, 2026.

Starring Connie Britton and Sam Nivola, the plot centers on a teenager named Sonny who, after waking from a car accident, becomes convinced that his mother, Ellen, has been replaced by an impostor. While others suggest his suspicions stem from trauma, the series explores the challenge of proving his claims.
